My experience of owning a 15yr old Merc E-200 Kompressor Classic

Chronology of events [Chronology samajhiye pehle]

 I bought an old Merc, 15years and 93000km old. Though, I got discouragements against this buy, me and my enthusiast friends were pretty stubborn on going ahead with the deal. We cracked it for 5.2L [including RC transfer charges]. Car's condition at that time : 

- AC : it was just refilled to give a feeling that its working fine, but we had figured that AC's compressor was beyond repair. 

- Interior : Rear Seat belt's latch was non functional, Display was showing 6 faults[check brake, SRS airbag, display faulty etc.], Music system was fitted from outside [except the speakers], front seats were electronically adjustable and they worked fine, Seats were a little smelly due to its age, Steering adjustment worked fine. 

- Engine : Engine light was on, it was a little noisy and heated up pretty quickly, pretty linear power delivery, below 40kmph the power was just meeting the requirement but beyond 40kmph it turned into a red eyed beast, Even at 120kmph the pull was phenomenal 

- Transmission : It has an Automatic Torque Converter Transmission, worked well, One problem it had was when I change from Parking to Reverse or Forward to Reverse, it has a considerable amount of lag.
